I started taking photos at a voracious pace while on tour. I’ve spent a lot of time in the past few years living in vans and buses and hotel rooms and living room floors and in rock clubs, theaters, and bars. It’s an intense, fast paced, unforgiving, and highly photogenic life. I said to myself “Hey, you’ve got full time access to these bands and these lives, why not document it?” So, here I am.

Still a growing, learning, and aspiring photographer, I like to find the odd and personal viewpoint of my subjects. When shooting, bands and otherwise, I look for moments and connection. I want to capture the stand out moment or look or light or feeling. That perfect zenith that meshes entertainment with experience.

When not peering through my lens, I’m often found underneath headphones or behind the merch booth selling shirts. Music is a lifestyle for me. One that encompasses and defines nearly all that I am. I can’t imagine living any other way. In my free time I enjoy collecting records, exploring outside, adventuring around my new home in Portland, OR, and cooking, baking, grilling, discovering and eating delicious food with my gorgeous wife. And our two fuzzy monsters.
